  We have just got back from a 2 day break away staying in one of Martin and Jo's beautiful shepherd's huts. The whole experience was fantastic. We wanted a secluded location in which to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Each of their shepherd's huts stands in its own garden with stunning views over the surrounding countryside, for ultimate privacy. Martin and Jo have thought of everything to give you a peaceful time away without the interruptions of modern life. There are however, clean toilet facilities and a very good shower a short walk from the huts, which was a must for me being pregnant. We had the option of spending our evenings snuggling up in front of the log burner inside the hut, or outside toasting marshmallows over the fire pit (both of which were bliss). Breakfast was dropped off outside the door each morning which included a Thermos of boiling water with tea, coffee, sugar and milk, cereal, breakfast bars and fresh fruit. All cutlery and crockery was provided in the hut along with extra blankets if you needed them while snuggling up outside under the stars. The owners just leave you to your own devices here as they appreciate peoples privacy. With that said, Martin is usually about in the yard and is very willing to direct you to the best places to eat and the best beaches to visit in the area. A big thank you to Jo and Martin for our time spent with you. We hope to be back in the future.
